New General Manager
We are pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Gill, who joins Deacons as General Manager, responsible for boatyard services, including lifting, launching, repairs and servicing work. Nick has much experience with both sailing and motor boats and comes to us with a strong marine engineering background. If you wish to discuss your boat's lay-up ashore or any work you might be considering you will see him around the yard or you can contact him on the office number.
We had a really good but cold start to the year as these photographs show. The boatyard was covered in snow for more than a week but after the thaw it was business as usual.
Free Hardstanding
Our berth holders may now take their free month hard standing anytime from May to December.
Internet Facility
We now have a stand alone computer in Deacons office for our customers use, to access the internet to view weather forecasts and check personal emails.
BRIG Ribs
Deacons has become the Hampshire Agent for BRIG RIBS, a range of high quality ribs from 3m to 7m.
